No one knows why you're wearing a space suit. No one knows why you're trapped in a derelict yet booby-trapped installation, yet here we are.

Star Jammer is a run and gun platformer made for GB30 Jam. The goal is to find the exit on each of the 3 levels. Many hazards and obstacles stand in the way as does the possibility of getting thoroughly lost. Visit the shop whenever you can.

Look for the number 30 and a rubber duck.

Turns out hitting pause to see the menu only lets me restart the level? Uh boy.

Is it possible to get the assets? I'm trying to remake a Game Boy style game in Unity but need assets. Nothing commercial of course.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Amazing and polished work! Much appreciated for learning Defold.

the best game ive ever played in a game jam

Really enjoyed this. Appreciate that hard work you put into creating it.

It's pretty nice, but the levels are really long. After finishing the second level, I didn't want to complete the third level anymore.

It's so adorable and nostalgic! So happy to discover that there's still such a vibe in a gaming world.

Really nice game! I liked the art style and the music was amazing. The game itself was very fun and I enjoyed the different levels. I did find the number 30. Overall a very fun and enjoyable game :D

I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)

Cool game but the movement and jump speed need to be fixed, it's way to fast.

It is pretty good game, but dying only restarts the level, meaning that you get your ammo and health back without any consequences. If you could only die three times like in mario the experience could be a lot more interesting

This game is nicely done. Particularly, I love the graphics. The only small drawback is the jump feeling, which is a bit odd for me.

Short, sweet, and an overall fun experience. I'll definitely play this again, perhaps to speedrun it.

Polished mechanics, nice job!

Awesome work! The levels feel great to explore, I found the 30 and the duck. :) The movement is pretty quick which took a little getting used to but once I did it was blast.

Really great game, as always polished and perfectly designed :D
